In 2018, I quit my (amazing) job in Washington, D.C., in order to thru-hike the Appalachian Trail from Georgia to Maine. 2,191.9 miles, three illnesses, two festivals, one heartbreak, and more beauty than I can ever describe later, I summited Mount Katahdin. Here is my story.
